Stewarding the Texas Landscape

Sustainscapes Landscape Consulting was founded on a simple realization: the most resilient landscapes are those that honor their history while preparing for the future. Based in North Texas, we provide a bridge between high-level Urban Design and Planning and the technical precision of Landscape Infrastructure.

As a Licensed Landscape Irrigator currently working in municipal planning and development, and pursuing dual Master’s degrees in City & Regional Planning (MCRP) and Public Administration (MPA), I approach every project with a dual lens. I see the technical elements of a site, but I also see the site and community story, and the long-term environmental and municipal impact.

The Sustainscapes Philosophy

Our work is grounded in Stewardship. Whether we are sub-consulting for Landscape Architects to produce permit-ready CAD plans or helping a community advocate for improvements, our goal is to create systems that last. We specialize in:

  • Development & Regulatory Intelligence: Navigating the path from concept to construction requires more than just design. It requires an understanding of municipal code, zoning, and the public process. Leveraging years of experience within municipal planning departments, we provide site feasibility research, rezoning advocacy (if needed), and technical visuals that align with city standards and long-term land-use goals.

  • Productive Ecology: Integrating suburban agriculture and sustainable water management into functional, beautiful environments.

  • Technical Integrity: Providing rigorous hydraulic calculations and site feasibility research that meet professional standards.

A Commitment to Public Integrity

Beyond the technical drawings, we are committed to the ethics of public service. By balancing private consulting with a career in municipal planning, we ensure our clients receive advice that is not only beautiful and functional but also aligned with the future growth and standards of the region.
